🪶 The Real Bob
One of the most special parts of this story is that Bob is real.
When Bob arrived at Wild Nest Bird Rehab, most of her tail feathers were missing—leaving behind only a tiny “bobtail,” which inspired her name. The people at Wild Nest gave Bob gentle care, healthy food, and time to rest while her feathers slowly grew back. When she was ready, Bob was released back into the sky.
Wild Nest Bird Rehab is a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation organization dedicated to helping Georgia’s injured and orphaned birds heal and return safely to the wild.
