Doppy Saves the Bees by H.R. Manske introduces young readers to the important role bees play in our environment—and how even small helpers can make a big difference.
🌸 A Garden Full of Flowers
The story begins with a friendly Dop named Doppy Dopperton, who has the most beautiful garden in Dop Town. His flowers are bright, colorful, and thriving.
But one day, while Doppy is watering his garden, something unexpected happens… a bee suddenly startles him. Her name is Honey, and she isn’t there to scare him—she needs his help.

🐝 The Bees Are Disappearing
Honey the Bee shares some worrying news. In Dop Town, the bees are disappearing one by one. If nothing changes, there may be no bees left at all! Doppy is shocked and asks what they can do. So Honey invites him on a little adventure to show him the problem.
Together they fly toward the outskirts of town, where Doppy sees something sad: empty flower fields where bees used to gather for nectar and pollen. Without flowers, the bees cannot survive.

🌼 How Kids Can Help Bees
Honey the Bee teaches Doppy several simple ways to help bees thrive again. These are wonderful lessons for young readers too!
